Clothes to Check Out

Hello Darlings!

While I was online shopping I saw a few things I thought you all would like.

Forever 21 has a few shirts/sweaters that have crosses on them. Also, there is a lovely white or black sweater that looks like it was all stitched together. Very frankenstein-ish.

I hope you're all tucked up warm inside, especially those here in the states with that snow storm starting! Finally we're getting some Christmas snow. Sweet! I love that fluffy cold stuff.

Hey All

Hi Darlings

I just wanted to throw a quick update out there concerning this past month, the upcoming weeks and the new year.

Unfortunately this past week I've been hit hard with a bug, so I'm just praying I'll be feeling well enough to celebrate the holiday with my family, and not quarantined in bed.

After the holiday, I have some work on the road and I won't be returning til after the first of the new year. At that point I'll return with a set blog schedule and posts for all of you.

I pray that each and every one of you enjoy a very merry Christmas, and a happy new year. I hope that all of you can enjoy your family and their company, as well as them enjoying yours, and that you receive something special on Christmas eve/day!

Nail Polish Review: OPI I'm so sari

Hello Darlings!

How are all of you doing? I hope you all are well. If you're a student, then I hope your Christmas break finals went by without any major problems and that you can now enjoy a relaxing Christmas break. I personally am not concerned with finals at this point in time, since I left school for this semester to round up some more dough. If I've already mentioned this in past posts, I apologize. My memory is kaputzzz at the moment...

Getting on with tonight's review! I found a lovely lovely glittery teal nail polish. It's everything I hoped for and more. I prefer wearing neutrals and letting my one or two accessories be colorful, or my nails will suffice. However I usually do not paint my nails. They break and chip like poorly made dentures and I can never get over how angry I get at putting all the time and effort into such a beautiful manicure to have it look awful within 48 hours.

I thought that maybe I was just buying crappy polish. Ergo, buy better polish and it chips less. Too True! I'm going to stop being such a penny pincher in the future and buy better quality products in certain situations.

*Tip* For you ladies who also suffer with constantly chipping nails, keep the nail polish off your fingers/toes for the weekend to let them breath, and try a product like Essie Vitamin E Base Coat. I bought mine at Ulta's and it has worked very well with the quality/lasting time of my manicures.

OPI I'm So Sari:

 Also it's nice that while there is glitter in it, it isn't obnoxiously noticeable. I like that it sparks when my hands are in the sun but then you just get that lovely blue hue the rest of the time.

 As a bonus, look at the little guy I found in our barn a few weekends ago! Isn't he adorable? It's a little baby field mouse. He wasn't scared of me at all. He/She just walked around and came close to my shoes to investigate and stare up at my towering self. I wasn't very original when I named him, but I call him timothy. My dad face-palmed himself when I said "But we can just call him tiny tim." I suppose he doesn't appreciate my dry humour. *Sigh*

My grandparents make fun of me, saying I'm so desperate for another pet I've been reduced to kidnapping field mice. Hmph. If only my grandma wasn't so disapproving of animals,I would have the lab or huskie puppy I've been dreaming of for a long time. -tear-

I like cats but I enjoy a more outdoorsy life style (gothic mori girl style?) and dogs better suit my taste of a fellow hiking/adventurous companion.

updates and early birthday post

Hello Darlings!

Sooo... Tomorrow's my burfdah! Lucky uneven 21. I'm more into even numbers and symmetrical objects... (I've been acting like this gif all day in excitement. Someone slap me back into reality)



I plan to do a outfit/cake post tomorrow. I just feel so bad I haven't posted anything recently.

But I do plan to do two nail reviews, three makeup reviews and a soap and glory review of the shower trip bag full of goodies I bought before this month is over.

I was google scrolling again when I found the perfect cake for tomorrow. Yes, I make my own cakes. No, I don't think it's sad or do I care. Store cakes are usually stale tasting and sickly sweet to me.

I cheated today. I did not make a vegan cake, but only because I didn't feel like driving an hour for fake butter and egg replacer. C'est la vie. One day out of the year doesn't make me a bad person.

I decided to make all 3 layers pink and added a little purple to one. Then I made a soft cotton candy pink frosting with rainbow star sprinkles, topped with white and pink candles.

Don't ask me why I wanted a sweet lolita type birthday cake. I'm still slightly questioning myself. But still... it's soo cute! :3

Embarrassing!

Damn it darlings!

I'm going to re-read my posts/comments/replies until I learn to spell correctly and not make an ass of myself. I'm trying to comment on others blogs and I can't even  make a literate sentence. I swear I re-read what I type and look at another page and come back to it with fresh eyes and I'm still a klutz.
I'm not going to get anywhere with this blog if I don't have a basic grasp on the english language. I'm a OCD personality type with a 4 year old attention span.

Now I'm going to go back to online shoe shopping. I swear I'll have a legitimate post up this weekend. Also it's going to be my birthday next weekend so I'll have a birthday cake decor post coming. I found a recipe for edible glitter. It will be a glittery doom cake...or something equally nonsensical and crazy for my 21st birthday. Don't forget to bring the marshmellow vodka haha.
